Arts and heritage project celebrates, explores and reviews the legacy of Whittingham Asylum near Preston.

Three UNSON branches – Lancashire Care, Liverpool Community & Hospitals, and Southport & Ormskirk Health– have joined forces with the North West region and UNISON’s Campaign Fund to back the Whittingham Lives project.

The project celebrates, explores and reviews the legacy of Whittingham Asylum near Preston.

An acclaimed exhibition uniquely explores public policy on mental health as well as labour and social history. The exhibition is being shown at the Harris Gallery in Preston until 25 November.
