Friday June 16th, Cathedral Gardens, Manchester City Centre, 7.30pm – 10pm
The Great Get Together is a chance for people of different communities, different faiths and different backgrounds to come together in celebration and commemoration.
Communities and organisations across the country are holding events – inspired by the memory and values of Jo Cox.
In central Manchester, a Get Together is taking place at Cathedral Gardens, M4 3BG, this Friday evening from 7.30pm.
The event is open to everyone, of all faith groups and none, and will be a celebration of Manchester’s unique multicultural community.
Food will be available, including halal food at the end of the fasting day for Muslims, and there will be planned street entertainment and children’s activities.
If you have any further questions or want to help contribute in any way then please contact the GM Citizens Community Organiser Furqan Naeem ([email protected]) or James Bevan at the Jo Cox Foundation ([email protected]).
