UNISON North West regional learning team organised a Coping With Change in A Stressful World course in July, well attended by activists. Delivered by the Workers Educational Association, learners got a lot out of a course which understood that they are being asked to do more with less and presented positive strategies, emphasising the person in the change.
Some of the comments from learners who attended highlight the success:
“Helped me to put my situation into context..I will be making changes…excellent day…I felt I have learnt something about myself…focusing on how I can reduce stress…hope to be able to go on more UNISON training”
We will be running more of these courses, so keep a look out and speak to your branch Education coordinator.
