This half day course is ran by Mermaids, the charity that supports children and young people with gender dysphoria.

The course will explore:
•Understanding gender identity and gender diversity: wat it means to be trans or gender non-conforming
•LBGT+ terminology
•Challenges faced by trans young people: isolation, bullying, discrimination, family issues social situations, mental health, transitioning while at school etc.
•Transition pathways
•Managing single sex spaces.
