Research project – Invitation to participate

EWERCThe University of Manchester is doing a research project on the effects of public spending cuts on people’s lives.

They would like to do some interviews with people who:

  • are aged between 25 and 50 years old.
  • work in the delivery of public services (this could be in local government, health or education – the employer might be in the public, private or voluntary sector).
  • have experienced a change in their working life since 2008. This change could be the loss of a job, a reduction in terms and conditions, or a change in working hours.

If this has happened to you, the University researcher would like to speak to you about your working life and the impact of the change. It would involve taking part in one or two interviews. Each interview would last about an hour and could be done somewhere convenient for you. Your answers would be anonymous. You would receive a £30 voucher for taking part.
