  • Violence against women / misogyny as a hate crime  Cllr Amna Abdullatif, Labour Councillor for Ardwick, Manchester and Board Trustee for End Violence Against Women

 

  • Stopping the rhetoric / hate crime targeted towards refugees  Bilal Hussain, Amnesty International

 

  • Defending against attacks on trans rights –Speaker to be confirmed

 

Followed by a panel discussion and activities focussed on the role of union activists and tackling hate crime in the workplace

Organising and campaigning to tackle hate crime and discrimination in the workplace – what can we do to tackle hate crime and support members in reporting hate crime.
