From the 8 am on Sunday, 25th August 2013 more than a 100 workers will undertake 5 days of strike action sending a clear message that the fight against the substantial cuts to their pay, terms and conditions has not gone away!
Many workers are losing more than £500 per month but they continue to deliver care to vulnerable adults in Rochdale on a daily basis.
Please give your support to care staff defending their pay and conditions! Join our march and rally on Thursday 29th August, 12 noon at ‘The Butts’ in Rochdale Town Centre.
Speakers will include Maureen le Marinel (UNISON National President) and Heather Wakefield (UNISON Head of Local Government).
