    Dyslexia Awareness Manchester, 27th August 2019

    This course is aimed at those who are involved in working with or supporting people with dyslexia.

    You will learn:

    • An increased understanding of what dyslexia is
    • Coping strategies for people with dyslexia
    • How to make workplaces more dyslexia friendly

    The course is run by the Open University and an experienced tutor will be running the course.

    Recognising Additional Learning Needs in Early Years Education, Manchester, 28th August 2019

    This course looks at identifying additional learning needs in children in early years education. The course will cover ADHD/ADD, Asbergers and Autism.

    The course will look at behaviours, and strategies to support children in everyday life and learning in primary school.

    The tutor for this this course is Jez Brigham, an experienced teacher and deputy head in an SEN school, who delivers training workshops on additional learning needs.
