Sefton Health UNISON branch Digital Inclusion launch

Sefton Health UNISON branch are running a Union Learning funded project around digital inclusion and had their first of 3 launches this week.

In a very enjoyable morning, they had lots of enquiries about getting online, getting more out of the internet and the deals that they can find. There were iPads from regional office for people to look at free learning apps and some devices with learning surveys  – the surveys on diet and acohol proving very popular. There was also information on what the branch and UNISON can provide and also some food and drink!

The branch will now be launching in two other areas of the site over the next couple of months and, with the help of their Digital Champions, will be taking digital learning to members and providing the learning and courses they need. If you want to know more about the project, please email the LAOS team.
