March Against Fascism – Liverpool – Saturday 12 October

UNISON North West and the North West TUC are supporting the march against fascism in Liverpool City Centre on Saturday 12th October.

This is a positive, proactive trade union event . It is an opportunity to make the positive case that the real problems of our time are not helped by the extremist politics of hate. That what is actually needed is unity of working people against austerity and cuts. This has a particular importance with the European elections looming with an opportunity to end BNP leader Nick Griffin’s term as a Member of the European Parliament. This can form part of our much wider work to mobilise voters next May to ensure the fascists and other racists are not elected.

The attached leaflets provide more information about the event.
