UNISON Sefton Health Branch 2nd Digital Inclusion Project Launch
An excellent turnout on 7th October for Sefton Health’s 2nd of 3 launches for the digital inclusion project – this time at the Women’s Hospital. Chris Vaughan, the UNISON Steward, was on hand and due to her excellent knowledge of members, over 30 people filled in learning forms and took information in a 2 hour period.
The branch is now looking to take the information they have and hold drop in and Digital Champion sessions, as well as offering deals on cheap computers, endorsed by Unionlearn.
Project lead Dave Woodward said “The branch has been busy with learning activity for some time now. The digital inclusion project, supported by the Union Learning Fund, is essential for helping staff and branch members to get online; it starts a learning journey and getting online can save you money too!”
The branch, who won an award recently for their work with apprentices, are focussed on learning and keen to get people online, so if you see Dave out and about, do say hello!
